The Harpers Ferry-Bolivar PSD is currently updating the waste water treatment plant and process piping. New aeration blowers, electrical controls and aeration systems have been installed and are operating great, six new return sludge pumps and piping are up and running with VFD drives to provide greater operational controls and better treatment. Two new chemical buildings have been installed that ensure safe chemical feed for disinfection and de-chlorination of the waste water treatment plant effluent discharge. The new backup emergency generator transfer switch in fully operational able to auto transfer in case of power outages. The construction is 98% complete, with only some Spring paving and touch up work to be completed.
The next Board Meeting will be held on Friday, Februry 8th at 8:00 a.m. at the Bolivar Community Center
We will be close on Monday, February the 18th for Presidents Day.
